Shane Martin, M.D.Board-Certified Orthopaedic SurgeonBorn in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Dr. Martin received his undergraduate degree from Juniata College, where he majored in biomedical engineering and played varsity baseball. He spent the following year conducting research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston before attending Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Dr. Martin then went on to complete his residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Cincinnati. Following residency, he came to Phoenix to pursue specialty training in adult reconstructive and joint replacement surgery at The Institute for Bone and Joint Disorders. In addition to general orthopaedics, Dr. Martin specializes in computer-navigated total joint replacement surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Orthopaedic Surgeons Network of Arizona.
