Michelle Hitchcock is originally from Lee's Summit, Missouri. She received her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training from California State University of Long Beach. She did a two year internship at CSULB. Michelle worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer before attending Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA where she received her Physician Assistant Certificate. She then obtained special recognition in surgery from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

She worked as a Certified Physician Assistant with an Orthopaedic spine surgeon before relocating to Phoenix, AZ in 2004. She currently works directly with Johnathan Landsman, MD specializing in orthopaedic spine. She provides care for patients in the office as well as works with Dr. Landsman as his First Assist in surgery.
